b) First thoracic vertebra.
c) Fourth thoracic vertebra.
d) First rib.
e) Third rib.
f) Clavicle.
g) Sternum.
h) m. Internal intercostals.

  1. subclavian artery.
  2. vertebral artery passing through 6 cervical vertebra.
  3. costocervical trunk.
  4. deep cervical artery.
  5. supreme intercostal artery.
  6. dorsal rami of 1st and 2nd intercostal arteries.
  7. first intercostal artery (divided into superior and inferior branches).
  8. second intercostals artery.
  9. superior and inferior branches (of second intercostals artery).
  10. third intercostal artery.
  11. fourth intercostal artery from the aorta.
  12. dorsal rami of 3rd and 4th intercostals arteries.
  13. internal thoracic artery.
  14. branch of internal thoracic artery passing over the clavicle in a forward path.
  15. sternal rami.
  16. anterior intercostal arteries communicating with posterior intercostal arteries.
